Pricing
There's no price list yet: we're setting prices with our first centres. Each centre gets a quote based on its size and the help it wants, and this page shows everything that goes into it, including what outside services charge.
How the quote is worked out
If your centre grows or opens another branch, we review the quote with you.
Tell us how many students you teach and we'll email a price within one working day. No call needed.

What's included
There are no add-on modules. What you see in the demo is what your centre gets.
What can cost extra
These are paid to the service, not to us, and TutorHQ works without any of them. Check each provider's current prices.
| Service | When it applies | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | When parents pay by card | Stripe's card fee on each payment (Stripe's prices). TutorHQ adds no percentage. |
| An email provider | If you connect SendGrid to email parents and tutors | SendGrid's own charges, if your volume needs a paid plan. Without one, messages stay on each family's page. |
| An AI provider | Optional, if you add a key for one | That provider's charges. The help chat works without one. |
| Off-site backup storage | Optional, if you connect your own storage | Your storage provider's charges. Nightly backups on the server are included. |
| Slack | If your team wants alerts in a Slack channel | Nothing extra from TutorHQ. It uses your own Slack workspace. |
Contract terms
Your quote states the monthly fee, any setup or import fee, the contract length and notice period, and how long we stay closely involved after you go live.
Before you sign, we also confirm in writing the hosting provider and where your data is held. More on where data is held.
Questions
We're setting prices with our first centres this term, so each centre gets a straightforward figure based on its size rather than a plan it has to fit into.
No. Accounts for tutors, parents and students aren't charged one by one. The number of students you teach is what the quote is mainly based on.
No. When parents pay by card, Stripe charges its own fee; TutorHQ adds nothing on top. Cash, bank transfers and cheques are recorded at no cost.
